Food Supplement, 60 Tablets
For immune system and bones
Vitamin D can be made by our bodies by the action of the sun on our skin, although the body’s ability to do this decreases with age. The use of sunscreen (which is essential for skin protection) and even our clothing can also reduce the efficiency of vitamin D synthesis by the body. In addition our diet often provides insufficient vitamin D, so it is not always possible to ensure an adequate supply of this important vitamin.
Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and normal blood calcium levels. It contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and muscle function. In addition, vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and has a role in the process of cell division.
